Bad Bunny is making waves around the world. The Puerto Rican artist not only blessed us all with three albums in 2020 — YHLQMDLG, LAS QUE NO IBAN A SALIR and EL ULTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO — he also released Crocs for glow-in-the-dark clogs and became the “WWE 24/7 Champion”. And now he has just announced his forthcoming adidas Forum Low “The First Café” collaboration.
The concept for this project is what gets Bad Bunny and his creative energy flowing in the morning: the essential cup of coffee. As described by HypeBeast, “the low-slung kicks translate that of the caffeine-infused beverage to a tee by applying various shades of brown to premium leather base layers and suede overlays. Utility features also make their way onto these collaborative sneakers such as the toggles that lie just beneath its puffed-up ankle collars as well as the removable collar buckle system.” The shoes tongues substitute the traditional adidas branding for Bad Bunny’s signature eye graphic, and when the straps are opened, it spells “YO VISTO ASI,” which translates to “I DRESS LIKE THIS/I DRESS THIS WAY” in English.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low Buckle “The First Café” sneaker will be made available exclusively through the Confirmed app in Europe and the US, and also through a partnership with Uber Eats in Puerto Rico. The release date is set for March 17, 2021 and the shoes will retail for $160 USD. See more photos below.
