The 2020 Latin Grammy Awards is a much-awaited event this year. Performances will be from different countries to this year’s theme, “Music Makes Us Human”. Everybody is rooting for their favorite artist and one of them is the most nominated female singer, Kany Garcia.

The Puerto Rican singer is nominated for the categories Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the song “Lo Que en Ti Veo” with artist Nahuel Pennisi. She is also a nominee in the Tropical Song category for her song “Búscame”.

Kany Garcia’s seventh-album “Mesa Para Dos” is a nominee for Album of the Year and Singer-Songwriter Album. “Mesa Para Dos” was born with the need to connect to people despite the situation now with the pandemic.

“It was kind of a beautiful madness and I told myself if I don’t release these now that we’re living this reality, with these feelings, I don’t know if when we reopen in November or October I will be able to release this album, in this way,” García told NBC News. “It made sense to me today.”

On her Twitter post, Garcia expressed gratitude to her team, family, and supporters for being with the most nominations.
